Róise McGagh is a visual artist based in Dublin. Their practice centres on the relationship between the art object, the space it inhabits and the experience of the viewer. McGagh’s work is rooted in the ongoing practical investigation of materiality and form, while also being influenced by concepts and philosophies of social space. They were of the Douglas Hyde Student Forum 2025 and have recently exhibited in Through and Between (2025), The Douglas Hyde Gallery, IADT On Show (2025) and In the Making: Mud Between the Toes (2025), Pallas Projects/Studios. They were longlisted for the 2025 RDS Visual Art Awards, awarded a 2025 FSAS Graduate Residency, and a recipient of the DLR Emerging Artist Bursary 2025 and the DLR Professional Development Arts Grant 2026..
